CIRCUMNAVIGATE VANCOUVER ISLAND
SELENE RALLY 2005
Ahoy Selene owners, the first Selene Rally will begin in July of 2005 and take us Around Vancouver Island. We will experience the beginning of the famous Inside Passage, navigate the rapids in central British Columbia and round the ominous Cape Scott to venture into the Pacific Ocean. We will explore the five major Sounds of the West Coast, bathe in Hot Springs, dine on the freshest sea food possible, scuba dive, kayak, hike and explore one of the most rugged and remote areas of North America.
Tentative rally departure date is July 13th at Port McNeill. Selene owners are encouraged to take their time getting there and enjoy Desolation Sound, Princess Louisa and the Broughton Islands. Estimated time for the Pt. McNeill to Victoria trip is 3 weeks. For those not able to make the entire trip, another group of Selenes will leave Friday Harbor the last week of July and join the fleet in Barkley Sound.
