SECOND ANNUAL SELENE
RENDEZVOUS
The 2003 Selene Rendezvous was held at the Port Ludlow Marina in Washington on April 25-27. The 70 people that attended included owners of 9 Selenes tied up at the dock, people that have Selenes on order and others that are considering buying a Selene. The event was hosted by Friday Harbor Yacht Sales and Jet Tern Marine.
Friday night featured a cocktail hour on the dock and activities on Saturday morning included seminars on insurance, financing, and outfitting boats with fuel polishing systems, onboard computer systems, electronics and stabilizers. On Saturday afternoon there was a trawler crawl that afforded people the opportunity to tour the boats on the dock and exchange ideas on how to configure and outfit their Selenes. A great dinner was hosted by Friday Harbor Yachts on Saturday night.
Howard Chen, Managing Director of Jet Tern Marine, made the long trip from Hong Kong to attend the Rendezvous for the second year in a row. His dedication to the design, quality and product support of the Selene line of yachts is one of the keys to the popularity of the Selene line. Howard's presence at the Rendezvous meant a lot to all of those present.
